Q. What jobs are available with the City of Longview?
A. A listing of all available positions is available in the Human Resources office, 140 E. Tyler St., Suite 400 or by calling the City of Longview Job Opportunity Line at 903-237-1221. Updates are posted every Friday after 5 p.m. for the following week.

A. Applications and job descriptions are available at the Human Resources office, 140 E. Tyler St., Suite 400 or may be downloaded from the City website.

Q. What do I need to do for a typing test?
A. To set up an appointment for a typing test, call our office at 903-237-1220 or go to the Texas Workforce Center, High St. in Longview on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Q. I have taken a typing test through a personnel service, will the City accept it?
A. The only typing test that we will accept through an outside source is through the Texas Workforce Center.

Q. If I'm hired, how often would I get paid?
A. City employees are paid every two weeks.

Q. What benefits does the City of Longview offer?
